To create the life you desire, there are several steps that you can take. Quicker and more effective as you want to be in creating the life you desire, more important is to follow them.

1. Intention & Goal Setting

Everything starts with knowing where you want to go. What is your wish? How your desired life look like? What do you want more of in your life? What do you want less of in your life? What is the direction in which you want to take your life?

Answers to those questions give you your goals – your topics and projects you can focus on and that will bring you closer to the life you want to live.

You want to experience more love, kindness? Find partner, or maybe improve your relationships? Maybe after years of trying it is really time to leave smoking or overeating behind and live a healthier life?

What do you want? What goals you need to follow to make your desired life a reality?

2. Determine action, make a plan

Once you know what you want it is time to start thinking strategically. It is time to make a plan and to determine not only what you want less or more in your life, but also to determine a plan how to achieve that in practice.

What are the actions that you can make, things that you can start or stop doing that can help you reach your goals? What are big or small steps you can make to go in the direction you have chosen?

Can you start doing something new, or stop doing something what is taking away your focus, energy and time? What are those small and big actions that you can plan for and bring into your life that will eventually lead you to live the life you desire, over a life that you are living right now?

3. Form a habit, monitor your success

Lastly, it is time to put all of that strategising and planning to the action. Once you know what you can start doing and what you can stop doing, it is time to actually start doing it and also start monitoring that success.

How can you make sure that you are doing those actions you identified will help you reach your goals and help you to get to your desired life in practice? Are the actions realistic that you will follow up on them, are they clear enough, is your motivation & desire big enough to actually do them? Can you tell someone to hold you accountable to follow though? Or is it enough to simply note everyday what you did?

Do you actually do them? Or there are more and more days when you simply skip them and they do not seem to be important to you enough to take time and energy to do them? What habits can you introduce and monitor to make sure you create the life you desire?

A goal, a plan, and a habit are great steps you can take to create the life you desire. Important is that you take time and make them part of your life as it is right now.


Call to action: What can you set today in motion to create your life you desire?

Write down at least 1 goal you want to work on, few things you want to have more or less of in your life, and things that you can start or stop doing. To make your desired life come true, start monitoring those habits!
